ABOUT ME

Lauren Kent is a New York City based singer, dancer, and actor. She is a graduate of Otterbein University with a BFA Musical Theatre major with a Dance Concentration. She interned with Tony Award winning choreographer, Andy Blankenbuehler for her first few months in New York. She stood as his Personal Assistant (working on the 1st National Tour of Hamilton and Bandstand in Broadway).

She has since appeared in the National Touring and regional productions of A CHRISTMAS STORY the musical as Miss Shields. She has also had a blast spending two summers in Saugatuck, MI at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts (LEGALLY BLONDE and KINKY BOOTS). Recently, she finished a production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Virginia Stage Company in Norfolk, VA.

When Lauren is not performing, she can be found doing hot yoga, playing her Tiffany blue ukulele, attempting to cuddle with her skittish bunny, Judy Hoppes, or trying to perfect her chili recipe.
